Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our online pharmacy weight loss clinic. By placing an order or registering with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Pharmacy Weight Loss Yate is a GPhC-registered online pharmacy (GPhC No. 9012511) operating in accordance with UK pharmacy law and the standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council. We provide weight loss consultations and prescription medicines to patients primarily in Yate and the surrounding area.
To use our services, you must be aged 18 or over and a resident of the United Kingdom. Weight loss treatments are available only to individuals who meet the relevant clinical criteria, as determined by our prescribing pharmacist following a consultation.
You must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information about your health, medical history and any medicines you are currently taking. Providing false or misleading information may result in the cancellation of your order and could pose a serious risk to your health. We reserve the right to decline or withdraw treatment at our clinical discretion.
All prescription medicines are only dispensed following a clinical assessment. Our pharmacist will review your consultation responses and medical history before approving any prescription. No prescription will be issued automatically.
We do not accept or dispense prescriptions issued by third parties through our online service. All prescriptions are generated by our own prescribing clinicians based on their assessment of your individual needs. A prescription may be declined where it is not clinically appropriate for you.
Full payment is required at the time of placing your order. We accept major debit and credit cards. All transactions are processed securely. Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the price confirmed at the point of checkout. In the event of a pricing error, we will contact you before processing your order.
Once your order has been approved by our pharmacist, we aim to dispatch your medication within 1 working day. Delivery times thereafter are subject to Royal Mail or courier service performance and are outside our direct control.
Deliveries are made to UK addresses only. You are responsible for ensuring your delivery address is correct at the time of ordering. We cannot accept liability for failed or delayed deliveries arising from incorrect address details provided by you.
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of purchase, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, unless your medication has already been dispensed. Once a prescription has been dispensed, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for prescription medicines for safety and hygiene reasons, in line with UK law.
If you wish to cancel before your order is dispensed, please contact us immediately by email or telephone. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days using your original payment method.
The information and services provided by Pharmacy Weight Loss Yate are intended to support, not replace, the relationship between you and your GP or other healthcare providers. You should always inform your GP of any weight loss treatment you are receiving.
We do not guarantee specific weight loss outcomes. Results vary between individuals. If you experience adverse effects or your condition changes, you must seek medical advice promptly and inform us as soon as possible.
We process your personal and health data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your data is used solely to provide and manage your care. We aim to respond to all data-related enquiries within 48 hours. Full details are set out in our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
